We take a break from our professional lives and our house project, to go wine tasting in Sonoma. Julie takes me to Ferrari-Carano Winery, gorgeous grounds with a beautiful meandering creek. "I wannna creek" said Julie.
So, with 14,000 lbs of Arizona rock and a little imagination, I built Sheeawhanna Creek.
The creek is 75 ft. in length. There is a 10' by 12' pond at the end stocked with Koi (they grow fast) and a waterfall at the head. The pump is 1.5 hp. and pumps through a 3 in line 75 ft in length with 11 ft of head height.

We are working on the inside of the Egret. All of the drywall was removed down to the studs. Walls were moved, widened, and removed. This area was the master bedroom but is now the upstairs living area complete with a kitchenette. A new wood floor and baseboard was installed (skinned and sore knees)
The Egret for the near future will be for our college girls. A plasma TV, Dolby digital stereo, panoramic lagoon and ocean view, dishwasher, and new kitchen is not a bad way to rough it as a college kid.

The Egret also has two master bedrooms with balcony and two bathrooms. We redid the whole house with recessed light fixtures and solid wood doors.
