Every day brings new first for us as we build Herons'  House.

Tonight we had our first fire in the pit. Both Julie and I love the outside spaces as much as the inside. We gave our landscape architect a general direction of what we wanted and then Rich Risner www.grounded101.com  our landscape architect designed a perfect landscape for our lifestyle. The wood framing in the fire pit area is for the concrete seating areas that will be poured on Monday.

We can't thank Rich enough for his great vision.

An old fashion weenie roast and smoores were part of the evening fare.

It gets better and better.

The two ugly guys on the bottom picture are Ron and Juan. These two artist, and they are acclaimed artist, did the concrete work and the stone, block work on Herons House.

The second floor is all framed now this picture is the view from our 15ft wide kitchen window. Its like a framed postcard!
