We cut the footings for the vineyard wall and the back outdoor kitchen wall on Saturday October 8th. On the 11th we had them dug out and formed up, we poured the footings on the 12th and wet set the first course.
For the first time the shape of the backyard as the landscape Architect has envisioned it is starting to take shape. You can really feel the dimensions and the layout for the stairs, the outdoor kitchen, dining area and fire pit area.
The building of the walls should take two days and I will post pics of the building on this page.
We also had an inspection today for our water proofing and drain. that inspection went well so we are beginning to start the process of backfilling. You can see the cuts from the plumber in a few of the pics.
